An updated take on the OG that started it all. Make no mistake, while this may be listed as a heavy-heavy, this is a completely overbuilt version of the original Mudpuppy rod and considerably heavier than other rods you will see on the market. This action is slightly slower and a little lighter than the Church but we added a couple mm to the blank from the OG, upgraded the guides, new handle and grip.
